what love is ?

you put someone on a pedestal,
and they fall -
but you are there
to catch them.

Love is like water;
We can fall in it.
We can drown in it.
And we can't live without it.

Any people
when they fall in love
look for a little haven
of refuge from the world,
where they can be sure
of being admired
when they are
not admirable,
and praised
when they are not praiseworthy.


To love means to commit
oneself without guarantee,
to give oneself
completely in the hope
that our love will produce love
in the loved person.

Falling in love
is so hard on the knees.
